I am pirating for a few months now and i must say its the best day to day fun i have had in multiplayer games for years. But pirating certainly isnt for everyone, but what i have had to learn AGAIN is to enjoy gaming. Running around and collecting aUEC to buy ships in game is okay fun, doing it the most meta way possible is also okay fun. But doing it the hard way just ... because ... is atleast in my humble opinion the better way. It took me 6 weeks of almost every day playing for more hours i care to admit to be part of 200 mil aEUC in pirate hits, remind you we share it in equal shares. So in the end i have made probably 60 mil tops, i took a lot of shares to buy some ships for 3.23 in case they dont wipe hue hue hue. I have a Reclaimer, i could have made that amount of money in probably 10 hours. Would the ten hours be fun for me? Hell no! Would the ten hours be fun for you? I dont know, if so you are one lucky bastard and my next target! So my incoherent rambling means just find your way to enjoy yourself in any Game, gaining currency isnt always the way to enjoy a game. Especially in SC where you dont need much and anything on top of that is just pure luxury.

You should definitely make another video about piracy now with all the changes to it. And please include a montage again like you did at the end of this video. You really got some awesome clips in there, especially the one with the argo mole above MicroTech. It just looked awesome once you shot off the ships's engine.

I come from the future and i can say this: we have 32 scu boxes now, so we can loot entire C2 in a matter of a couple minutes XD Pirating has gone out the window People don't wanna do the one thing this game would be awesome for : RP (role play) People just insult, and prefer alt+f4 or self destructing the ship instead of having some player interaction to make everything fun I am disappointed But i can say this: to all alt+f4 ers out there, all the people that stayed in our game, that listened to us, talked to us, had a laught with us; they all said one very moving comment some time after the "pirating act", "it was fun", and that, that is what keeps me going forward. 07 people in the verse, prepare your wallet, cause i'm coming for you

Good vid. The one thing this game is missing is aspects to bring players together. I found a good home at one of the cru got the hang of the game and noticeda nao one was ever around. I asked and found out that most people are around crusader and the seraphim station. I went there and players always coming and going that helped. But with missions everyone is just doing solo stuff usually unless you go on chat and try and figure something out with someone. I know there are coming out with cargo missions. That would be cool if there were ai or player pirates and you needed a escort.

one thing is for sure. i saw many good games fall because people were just gathering on the bad site. My friends and i were so often harmed by other players, that i decided i could never be a pirate in this game. Hard working people come home want to have some fun, go mining, trading, have some fun with the people in their TS or Discord and enjoy the evening. Today those regular players have a lot to struggle with. It is not like 15-20 years ago in gaming. here are streamers that can live from the game they play. They have 24/7 skill building possibilitys and unlimited amount of time, as well as social parasites living from the nation, out of the pockets of those who work. Also you have all this "cash-in" "pay to win" games and apps to give rich dudes an unfair advantage over the regular dude going to work. The people who work, either lack time or money, or even both. We are 3 dudes and one got shot we came to safe him...failed.. then camped his loot. but what shall i say? work was calling and so was the bed. 2h of our free time los, cargo lost, because we could not stay there any longer, just as the 5 pirate dudes could. Also the game is still so bugged out, that making money is for a lot of players a real problem. Others buy their Hercules Starlifter C2 with LTI others start out with an aurora, finaly beeing able to make some money...they just get shot, scammed, looted, laughed at. I'll be honest, if i was without work, sitting home all day long and play or if i had just the money to buy all the ships i want to have with real money, i couldn't care less about what you did. if you had me on the "plank" i would have just thown some fists at you and after deinstalled the game for a week. It's not fun these days anymore, its just pure sadism. And this is how the game will die couple of years after its release: Miners, Traders, Builders, Helpers are going to quit the game day by day more until there is just piracy dudes left shooting eachother to the ground until after 8-10 years the servers shut down, because 90% of the game content will not be used anymore and no more players enter the game. A good example was Mortal Online. A red Guild took slowly over the complete map, destroyed everything new player build over night. They were hunting new players in the streets and spawn places. So the community was shrinking day by day, until just a few hundret players, mostly of red guilds and murderers were left, then devided the world and sometimes had a fight. If we let this happen to Star Citizen, all the work and effort and love put into this game, was just wasted by a society without honor and repsect, spitting at the work of RSI and all the PVE Players, Traders and Miners. Don't get me wrong, piracy can be a part of the game, the quantity of piracy is what i am scared of. Since last whipe, the amount of pirate players has increased so bad, that you barely can trade any route, since from 100 players, 10 or even more are just lingering around waiting to shoot someone somewhere. now scale this up on a server with 1000 ppl. 100 are pirates? how shall this work out? and if the 900 others are sick of it, they become pirates as well or just quit the game. this will spiral down fast. The behavior in games changed a lot. ppl yell, insult other ppl, become angry fast. everything is just a challenge, must be faster, harder, better... and this behavior is toxic in reallife as it is in games. Most ppl feel like losers, left behind, not worthy, so become scum in games, yelling around, insulting ppl, enjoying to have might over ppl to fuck them up and feel better in their own life or just out of pure boredom.

actually, my best stories do start with "So i was doing this box mission right?" and typical cringe RPG ones started when "mmo" players entered the Star Citizen with their zombie survival mindsets, making me to question if i really should be playing computer games in my age... rofl

Pirates are griefers and gankers. Period. Just like real criminals, they rob people so they don't have to work. They take the proceeds off the labors of others. And do it in packs because they're cowards. I don't see people who play as pirates as any different than the common Chicago gang banging street thug that needs to go out in a hail of gunfire, and their parents imprisoned for raising criminals. Every person who plays a pirate in Star Citizen...I hope their house and cars get jacked so they get a taste of their own medicine, and they find out first hand what the guy mining for 4 days only to have his ship and everything he mined jacked feels like. They deserve to have it happen to them...to be griefed and ganked irl for what they do to players trying to escape real life and have a relaxing game session after busting their asses all day. Nothing would make me laugh more than some punk from Mongrel Squad getting jacked at gunpoint in his own home on a live stream ,where all his computer and AV equipment they worked for was taken, along with their car, and when they went to the police, the police said" stop calling an honest real life loop griefing. Go buy another car and computer and next time, have a fleet with you at your home". That would be poetic justice
